Join us as we “Kick Off” the new school year with our first “District Day” event – a home football game!
Saturday, September 27th 1pm
Show your Morristown Pride at this year’s first “District Day” sponsored by Presidents Council of the Morris School District. This year we will join the MSD Board of Education to honor Dr. Thomas Ficarra for his years of service as Superintendent of our schools.
Activities to include:
- Pregame Parade: Everyone meet at Alexander Hamilton School at 12:15 pm. We will line up and walk to the field together and be escorted to our seats.
- Game begins at 1:00 sit with your friends or meet someone new, maybe from your school and a sister school too.
- Halftime Tribute to Dr. Thomas Ficarra – select students to present gift on the field.
- Post Game refreshments in the High School Cafeteria-All are welcome to enjoy cake and punch to wish Dr. Ficarra well on his retirement.
- Students who are part of the pre-game parade will receive free admission. Adult admission to the game is $3.00. (Student admission for those not participating in the pre-game parade from Alexander Hamilton with their parents is $2.00).
- RSVPs are necessary so we can track attendance and send any updates to guests if needed (rain update, etc).
