It was so nice to see our 8th Grade parents at Back to School Night last week and for them to have the opportunity to meet their children’s teachers. This week, it is the 6th Grade’s turn on Monday 9/28 and 7th Grade on Tuesday 9/29. Both nights begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Don’t forget to come a little early if you wish to purchase school clothing.
This Friday October 2nd, we have two important happenings. It’s school picture day for all and at 7:00 in the evening we are hosting the 6th Grade Social! It is going to be a great night of fun and an opportunity for the kids to socialize outside of the classroom environment. There will be a DJ, sports, and a selfie booth. Be sure to encourage your children to attend. Tickets will be sold during lunches on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
HSA Clubs begin this week and we are so glad so many of you encouraged your children to join an afterschool activity. Whether it is an HSA club, a school club, student government, or sports, it is wonderful for the children to be able to build relationships with the teachers and students of our FMS community.
