SNACK BAR Co-Chair
We are looking for a second volunteer to Co-Chair the After-school Snack Bar, which runs daily during the three sports seasons. The Co-Chairs would be responsible to schedule the parent volunteers to staff the snack bar, communicate the purchasing needs to the purchasing volunteers, and coordinate deposits with the HSA secretary. 8TH GRADE SOCIAL
We already have one parent volunteer, and are looking for 1-2 more volunteers to organize the fall social for our 8th grade students. Responsibilities include finding a fun theme, booking a DJ, sending out the Signup Genius for snack and volunteer donations, and overseeing the event. Interested? Contact Tanya Seaward.
POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION AND SUPPORTS
This is a new program that Mr. Uglialoro has brought to the school that focuses on building a positive school climate. We are looking for a 2 parent volunteers to help Mr. Uglialoro organize the Falcon tickets program and organize two Tricky Tray events for the students. Interested? Contact Tanya Seaward.
SCHOOL PICTURES
This is a great “one and done” volunteer position to help with school pictures on October 7th. We are looking for a parent to liaise with the picture company, and to send a sign up genius for a few parent volunteers to help organize the students. Interested? Contact Tanya Seaward.
BOX TOPS
This is a great, easy fund-raiser that generated over $3000 for FMS this past year. The committee chair will be responsible to put reminders in the Daily Bulletin and supervise collection throughout the year. Also, the volunteer will run a contest between classrooms and coordinate the breakfast party for each house homeroom that brings in the most boxtops. Interested? Contact Tanya Seaward.
