How does important information get communicated at FMS and how has it changed from last year?
A: FMS Bulletin – For many years all important information had been sent daily in a long string email called the “FMS Daily Bulletin”. This is where you found out about FMS happenings such as concerts, special events, grade level information, sports/club information and much more. Much of the information in the daily bulletin was repetitive and it was hard to find the “new” updates and read the information on your smartphone. This year FMS will be sending home this information in a WEEKLY Bulletin on Thursday evenings. This format will make information easier to read and find. All last minute daily changes (i.e. sports/club cancellations) will be sent in a separate and timely message on that day when necessary.
IMPORTANT!!! All FMS parents need to sign up for the new Weekly Bulletin to get these messages going forward! You will NOT receive messages from the FMS if you do not sign up HERE. Last year’s contact information cannot be transferred…you must sign up this year to get this information!
